IL Volo is a genuine supergroup: Alberto Radius and Gabriele Lorenzi were from Formula Tre , and Bob Callero had been in groups like Tribe and Duello Madre Osaga. After an excellent debut in 1974, with self-titled album the following year released what would be his greatest work: Essere or non essere?
This is an album that I really enjoy, not characterized by large suites or for complex arrangements or solos, but this disc has something that makes me not ever get tired of hearing it. Particularly it is an album that gives me strong emotions, and I bring to mind feelings on life, death, love, ... Pity that only lasts a little over half an hour.
